Job Summary
As a Warehouse Worker, you will be the backbone of our daily operations. You will ensure that products are received, stored, and shipped accurately and efficiently. We value hard work and offer a clear path for career progression within our logistics network.
Responsibilities
- Receiving & Inspecting: Verify incoming shipments against packing slips and ensure all items are in good condition before storing.
- Picking & Packing: Accurately select and package items for orders, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Assist in cycle counts and maintaining accurate inventory records within the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Shipping & Loading: Load and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing cargo.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, orderly, and organized storage area to facilitate efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is preferred; however, we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory software are a plus.
- Work Ethic: Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Teamwork: Must be a reliable team player who communicates effectively with supervisors and colleagues.
- Certification: Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) is highly desirable.
