Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously using proper leash techniques and control
- Provide attentive care during walks including hydration monitoring and waste cleanup
- Administer basic medications if certified and required
- Maintain detailed pet activity logs and owner communication via app
- Adhere to strict safety protocols for unpredictable weather and terrain
- Build trust with pets through positive reinforcement and affection
- Transport dogs to/from veterinary appointments when needed
- Attend monthly training sessions on animal behavior best practices
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking experience
- Certification in Pet First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
