Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs in residential areas and designated parks
- Provide feeding, hydration, and medication administration as directed
- Maintain detailed pet care logs and incident reports
- Transport pets to vet appointments or grooming sessions
- Ensure secure handling of all pets during walks and transfers
- Communicate professionally with pet owners via app and text
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and emergency procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional pet care experience
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable insured vehicle
- Strong understanding of dog behavior and handling
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and walk in various weather
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
- Professional communication skills and attention to detail
- Background check and pet CPR certification preferred
- Must be available for immediate start (within 3 days)
