Responsibilities
- Walk and exercise dogs of various breeds and sizes in a safe and timely manner.
- Clean up after pets immediately during walks to maintain neighborhood cleanliness.
- Administer medication and follow specific feeding instructions provided by owners.
- Monitor the health and behavior of pets during visits and report any issues to management.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners via app or phone.
- Ensure the safety and security of the pets at all times while on the job.
- Keep walking equipment (leashes, bags) clean and ready for use.
Qualifications
- Previous experience with dogs or professional pet sitting is preferred but not required.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- Strong understanding of animal behavior and basic first aid knowledge.
- Punctuality and a high level of reliability are essential.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (rain, heat, cold).
- Passion for animals and a friendly, outgoing personality.
