Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs (1-4 at a time) in designated neighborhoods and parks
- Administer basic care (feeding, medication) as per client instructions
- Maintain detailed digital logs of walks, behavior, and pet well-being
- Provide real-time photo/video updates via our mobile app
- Build trust with pets through positive reinforcement and consistent routines
- Handle emergency situations calmly (e.g., escaped pets, medical incidents)
- Coordinate with pet parents for schedule changes and special requests
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license with clean record (for transport needs)
- Red Cross Pet First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Exceptional reliability and punctuality with flexible availability
- Strong physical stamina for extended outdoor activity in Georgia weather
- Smartphone proficiency for our care management app
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
- Must pass background check and drug screening
