Job Overview:
We are seeking dedicated individuals to provide daily exercise and companionship to dogs in the San Jose area. Your primary role will be to ensure the safety, health, and happiness of our clients' pets while maintaining a high standard of professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Execute Daily Walks: Walk dogs of various breeds and sizes, ensuring they receive adequate exercise and attention.
- Pet Care & Feeding: Feed pets according to specific instructions and monitor their overall health and behavior during visits.
- Waste Management: Always clean up after pets immediately and dispose of waste properly.
- Communication: Provide detailed reports via our app after each visit, noting any behavioral changes or health issues.
- Client Interaction: Greet clients warmly, answer questions, and ensure the client’s property is left secure and tidy.
- Safety Checks: Verify gates are locked, toys are put away, and the environment is safe before leaving.
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience walking dogs of various temperaments and sizes.
- Love for Animals: A genuine passion for dogs and a patient, friendly demeanor.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, responsible, and able to adhere to a schedule.
- Transportation: Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
