Responsibilities
- Safely walk and exercise dogs in designated Riverside neighborhoods
- Provide feeding, medication administration, and basic care as requested
- Maintain detailed client logs and pet behavior reports
- Ensure pets' safety through leash control and environmental awareness
- Communicate professionally with pet owners about pets' well-being
- Adhere to company safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Manage multiple pets simultaneously when required
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking/pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Red Cross Pet First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to walk 5+ miles daily
- Strong understanding of dog behavior and handling techniques
- Availability for weekday/evening walks (10am-8pm)
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- California resident with local knowledge of Riverside
