Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs in designated neighborhoods and parks while adhering to leash protocols
- Provide feeding, medication administration, and basic care as per client instructions
- Maintain detailed logs of pet behavior, health, and activity during walks
- Communicate professionally with pet owners via text/email with photo updates
- Adapt to flexible schedules including evenings and weekends as needed
- Ensure pet safety during inclement weather and emergency situations
- Represent Paws & Play with professionalism and enthusiasm in all client interactions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- First Aid/CPR certification for pets or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes (up to 100 lbs) with confidence
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Trustworthy background check required
- Must reside within 15 miles of Stockton, CA
