Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs of various sizes and breeds in diverse environments
- Provide attentive companionship and monitor pets' well-being during outings
- Maintain strict adherence to client instructions regarding routes, duration, and care protocols
- Clean up after pets responsibly and maintain equipment hygiene
- Document walk details and communicate observations to pet owners
- Handle emergency situations calmly and professionally
- Adhere to all local leash laws and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Red Cross Pet First Aid/CPR certification preferred
- Exceptional reliability and punctuality
- Strong understanding of dog behavior and body language
- Ability to handle multiple dogs simultaneously
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Physical stamina to walk 2-4 hours daily in varying weather
