Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs (1-3 at a time) in designated neighborhoods
- Provide real-time GPS updates via mobile app
- Administer basic care (water, waste cleanup, treats)
- Maintain detailed activity logs for each client
- Transport pets to vet/grooming appointments as needed
- Attend monthly safety workshops
- Build rapport with pet owners through clear communication
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Certification in pet first aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Availability to work weekends/holidays
- Excellent knowledge of dog behavior and body language
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Passion for animal welfare and customer service
- Background check clearance
