Responsibilities
- Walk and exercise dogs of various sizes and breeds safely in local Mesa neighborhoods.
- Collect and dispose of waste during walks in a responsible and hygienic manner.
- Administer medication and supplements to dogs as directed by pet owners.
- Ensure the safety of the pets at all times, including traffic awareness and leash control.
- Provide real-time updates to owners via text or our mobile app.
- Leave the home clean and tidy, and lock all doors/windows upon completion.
- Report any health issues, behavioral concerns, or property damage immediately.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable personal vehicle.
- Previous experience with dogs is highly preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to lift and handle dogs up to 40 lbs comfortably.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
