Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise dogs in Irvine neighborhoods and parks
- Provide fresh water and administer basic care (feeding, waste cleanup)
- Maintain detailed pet activity logs for owners
- Administer medications if certified (optional)
- Transport pets to vet appointments or playdates as needed
- Uphold strict safety protocols during all interactions
- Communicate effectively with pet owners via app updates
- Adapt to varying dog temperaments and energy levels
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ with reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and walk for 2+ hours
- Flexible availability (mornings, evenings, weekends)
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Basic pet first aid/CPR certification preferred
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Comfortable handling large/small breeds
