Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise dogs in Honolulu neighborhoods and parks
- Provide feeding, medication administration, and basic care as needed
- Maintain detailed pet activity logs and client communication
- Ensure all animals are secure using proper leash/harness techniques
- Adapt to varying weather conditions and terrain (beach walks, trails)
- Urgently respond to client requests and schedule changes
- Participate in monthly pet safety training sessions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- CPR/First Aid certification for pets (or willing to obtain)
- Ability to handle large breeds and high-energy dogs
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Honolulu's pet-friendly areas and leash laws
- Availability for early morning, evening, and weekend shifts
