Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests warmly, providing menus and introducing daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Deliver orders promptly, ensuring food quality and presentation standards are met.
- Clean and reset tables efficiently between service periods.
- Handle point-of-sale transactions and process payments securely.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to address special requests or delays.
- Maintain a clean, organized service station and adhere to all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina required to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Knowledge of wine and cocktail pairings is a plus.
- A friendly, positive attitude with a strong focus on customer service.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
