Responsibilities
- Greet and Seat Guests: Welcome customers warmly, manage seating arrangements, and provide menus with a positive attitude.
- Order Taking: Expertly take food and beverage orders using the POS system, ensuring accuracy and making informed recommendations.
- Serve Excellence: Deliver food and drinks promptly, check back on guests to ensure satisfaction, and address any needs immediately.
- Upselling: Knowledgeably suggest appetizers, desserts, and specialty drinks to enhance the guest's dining experience.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a pristine dining area, including tables, chairs, and restrooms throughout your shift.
- Payments: Process transactions accurately, handle cash and credit card payments, and manage tip reporting.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a server or in the hospitality industry is preferred but not required for enthusiastic candidates.
- Availability: Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet business demands.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to listen actively and interact with diverse guests.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and move quickly between tables.
- Attitude: A friendly, professional demeanor with a strong focus on customer service and teamwork.
- Legal: Must be at least 18 years old and able to serve alcohol responsibly.
