Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and seat them promptly in an organized manner.
- Present menus, describe daily specials, and answer menu-related inquiries.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them efficiently to the kitchen staff.
- Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and address any issues or complaints with grace.
- Process payments accurately using POS systems (Toast, Micros, etc.).
- Maintain a clean and organized dining room and bar setup throughout the shift.
- Adhere to all health codes, safety regulations, and responsible alcohol service policies.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server or in a customer-facing role is preferred but not required.
- Must possess a valid Texas Food Handler’s Card.
- Strong knowledge of standard drink recipes and alcohol laws.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, outgoing demeanor.
- Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new POS software quickly.
