Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Present menus and provide detailed knowledge of daily specials, ingredients, and preparation methods.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff efficiently.
- Service food and drinks with precision, ensuring presentation standards are met at all times.
- Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and address any needs or concerns promptly.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including resetting tables between services.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred but not required for enthusiastic candidates.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse groups of people.
- Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Familiarity with POS systems (Point of Sale) is a plus.
- A valid Food Service Handler card (or willingness to obtain one).
- Reliable, punctual, and a positive attitude.
