In this role, you will be the bridge between our culinary team and our guests, ensuring every plate is delivered with a smile and every need is anticipated before it is expressed.
Responsibilities
- Greet and Seat Guests: Welcome patrons warmly, manage wait times efficiently, and ensure a smooth seating arrangement.
- Order Taking and Service: Accurately take food and beverage orders using POS systems and relay them to the kitchen staff.
- Guest Experience: Provide exceptional hospitality, answer menu questions, and ensure all dining needs are met promptly.
- Table Maintenance: Clear and reset tables efficiently to maintain cleanliness and flow throughout the service.
- Upselling: Suggest wine pairings, appetizers, or desserts to enhance the guest experience and meet revenue goals.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with bartenders, cooks, and management to ensure a seamless service.
- Compliance: Adhere to all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a server or server assistant is preferred but not required for enthusiastic candidates.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly, outgoing demeanor.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Alcohol Awareness: Must possess a valid Food Handler’s Card and Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.
- Flexibility: Willingness to learn new menu items and adapt to changing restaurant needs.
- Professionalism: Punctuality, reliability, and a professional appearance.
