Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, teas, and pastries, according to strict recipes.
- Operate coffee brewing equipment and espresso machines safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting workspace, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a memorable experience.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and manage the point-of-sale system accurately.
- Restock supplies, including milk, syrups, cups, and pastries, throughout the shift.
- Clean and sanitize workstations, utensils, and equipment after each use.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous barista experience is a plus, but we are willing to train enthusiastic candidates.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, especially during peak hours.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with a diverse clientele.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Reliable transportation and a valid ID.
