As a Server at The Edison LA, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable moments for our guests while contributing to a vibrant, energetic atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables, providing menus and offering refreshments.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using our Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and provide detailed descriptions.
- Recommend appetizers, entrees, and signature cocktails based on guest preferences and daily specials.
- Deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely manner, ensuring presentation standards are met.
- Clean and sanitize workstations, tables, and service areas throughout the shift.
- Process payments accurately and handle cash and credit transactions responsibly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Server in a fine dining or high-volume restaurant is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of wine, beer, and cocktail pairings is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Flexibility to cross-train in various service stations.
