Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional service from the moment they arrive until they depart.
- Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system and relay them to the kitchen staff.
- Clean and maintain dining areas, tables, and restrooms to ensure a pristine environment.
- Handle guest complaints or requests professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Upsell products (e.g., specials, desserts, premium drinks) to maximize revenue.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a full-service restaurant setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage menus and alcohol service regulations (SOP).
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift trays or objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
