Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests with a warm, welcoming demeanor, ensuring they feel comfortable immediately.
- Present menus and provide detailed descriptions of food and beverages, making recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using our Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently.
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner, ensuring presentation standards are met.
- Clean and reset tables between courses and after guest departure to maintain a pristine dining environment.
- Handle cash transactions and process credit card payments accurately, balancing the register at the end of each shift.
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance the guest's dining experience and increase revenue.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact warmly with diverse clientele.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions accurately.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
- Knowledge of responsible alcohol service and food safety regulations.
