Responsibilities
- Architect and develop low-latency firmware for direct neural data transmission.
- Optimize signal processing algorithms to improve data accuracy and reduce noise.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to validate prototypes in clinical and consumer environments.
- Design scalable data pipelines for real-time neural feedback loops.
- Mentor junior engineers and guide research directions for neural learning models.
- Ensure compliance with medical device safety and data privacy regulations (HIPAA, GDPR).
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Neuroscience, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in embedded systems, signal processing, or machine learning.
- Proficiency in C++, Python, and CUDA for high-performance computing.
- Experience with hardware-software co-design and real-time operating systems.
- Strong understanding of human-computer interaction (HCI) principles and neural network architectures.
- Proven track record of leading technical projects from concept to deployment.
