Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends to produce annual Horizon Reports on AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for product development aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives to align innovation priorities
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global tech summits
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify and evaluate emerging startups
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for geopolitical and technological disruptions
- Mentor a team of futurist analysts and technology scouts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or futurist consulting with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record of predicting market shifts (portfolio of published forecasts required)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or Web3
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to connect disparate technological domains
- Experience presenting to executive audiences and translating complexity into strategy
- Advanced degree in technology, economics, or futures studies (PhD preferred)
- Published author in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
