Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research across technological, societal, and economic domains to identify disruptive forces affecting 2026 business landscapes
- Develop predictive models and scenario-planning frameworks for enterprise clients navigating exponential change
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable strategic roadmaps
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations on future-proofing methodologies
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype solutions for anticipated market shifts and regulatory evolutions
- Mentor junior futurists while establishing new industry standards in foresight analytics
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and systemic risk assessment methodologies
- Publishing record in peer-reviewed foresight journals or industry-leading publications
- Mastery of foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis, STEEP-V scanning)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to distill complex concepts for executive audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ enterprise-level future-strategy implementations
