Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Architect strategic innovation roadmaps with 5-10 year vision for AI, biotech, and quantum computing convergence
- Develop scenario-based models for future market disruptions and competitive threats
- Facilitate executive workshops on exponential technologies and their organizational implications
- Drive R&D investments in emerging domains with 10x potential impact
- Establish strategic partnerships with futurist think tanks and academic research institutions
- Translate foresight insights into actionable product development and go-to-market strategies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic concepts (portfolio required)
- Expertise in emerging technologies: generative AI, synthetic biology, spatial computing
- Deep understanding of geopolitical and demographic megatrends shaping 2026+
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., WFS, APF) or innovation methodologies
- Exceptional storytelling ability to communicate complex future scenarios to diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (journal/conference)
