Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research across technology, social, and economic domains to identify emerging trends
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for 2026+ landscapes
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops to translate foresight into actionable strategies
- Author executive briefings and thought leadership content on future implications
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry experts
- Advise product development teams on integrating future-proofing principles
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and senior leadership
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation, or futurism roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to distill complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Strong research methodology skills including qualitative and quantitative analysis
- Experience with AI/ML tools for trend forecasting and pattern recognition
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or innovation frameworks
