Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Horizon's proprietary 2026 foresight framework, scanning global signals across 12 industry verticals
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive clients, translating complex futures into actionable strategic roadmaps
- Design and launch innovation incubators targeting $1B+ market opportunities by 2026
- Author quarterly trend briefings that influence corporate R&D priorities and venture capital allocations
- Build and lead a cross-functional team of futurists, data scientists, and domain experts
- Establish strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and other innovation ecosystems
- Present findings at Davos, CES, and premier industry conferences to position Horizon as thought leadership
Qualifications
- 10+ years in futures research, innovation strategy, or related foresight discipline with Fortune 500 exposure
- Advanced degree (Master's/PhD) in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent technical field
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized ventures or enterprise transformations
- Expertise in AI/ML forecasting, biotech convergence analysis, and climate adaptation modeling
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS) or comparable methodology training
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or major industry publications
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience to C-suite and board-level audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 5+ year horizon predictions with measurable impact
