Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 technological inflection points
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum AI, neural interfaces, sustainable tech)
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across 15+ emerging tech domains
- Design and execute R&D initiatives with $10M+ annual budgets
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and board members quarterly
- Mentor junior futurists through our Future Leaders program
- Collaborate with MIT, Stanford, and ETH Zurich on joint research initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurism roles
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Expertise in at least 3 emerging tech verticals (quantum, biotech, AR/VR)
- Track record of launching products with >$100M ARR
- Fluency in futures methodologies (Delphi, STEEP, scenario planning)
- Strong network with global tech innovation leaders
