Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to identify and quantify emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) impacting 2026 market landscapes
- Develop comprehensive future scenario models for Fortune 500 clients across healthcare, finance, and manufacturing sectors
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to integrate future-proof strategies into product roadmaps and operational frameworks
- Author high-impact thought leadership reports and deliver keynote presentations at global innovation forums
- Establish and maintain partnerships with academic institutions, government agencies, and venture capital firms
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon scanning methodologies and strategic foresight frameworks
- Drive organizational culture of innovation through workshops and future readiness assessments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Management, or equivalent experience with 7+ years in strategic planning
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology) with demonstrated impact on business strategy
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Strong network within innovation ecosystems (Silicon Valley, Boston, Austin tech corridors)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through digital transformation initiatives
- Publishing record in futurism/innovation journals or equivalent thought leadership
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning, weak signal detection)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or similar program) preferred
