Responsibilities
- Architect Hybrid Systems: Design and implement scalable algorithms that integrate classical machine learning models with quantum processors to solve complex optimization problems.
- Quantum Simulation: Develop high-fidelity quantum simulation environments to test and validate neural network architectures before deployment on real quantum hardware.
- Code Optimization: Refactor and optimize existing codebases to ensure minimal latency and maximum throughput in cloud-based quantum environments.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor a team of junior engineers and data scientists, conducting code reviews and architectural walkthroughs to maintain high engineering standards.
- R&D Strategy: Collaborate with CTOs and product managers to identify emerging trends in quantum computing and propose strategic R&D initiatives for the 2026 roadmap.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation, white papers, and API specifications to facilitate knowledge transfer and system scalability.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Computational Intelligence.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 2 years specifically focused on AI/ML or Quantum Computing.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, C++, and CUDA. Hands-on experience with quantum SDKs such as Qiskit, Cirq, or Amazon Braket.
- Frameworks: Deep understanding of TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX, and the ability to port models to quantum-friendly formats.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Experience deploying models on AWS, GCP, or Azure with a focus on high-performance computing (HPC) clusters.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a passion for exploring the unknown.
