Aethelgard Systems is seeking a visionary Senior AI & Quantum Architect to spearhead the development of next-generation computing solutions. In this role, you will define the technical roadmap for our 2026 product suite, ensuring our systems are robust, future-proof, and capable of handling complex, high-volume data streams. You will work directly with C-suite leadership to bridge the gap between theoretical AI advancements and practical, deployable engineering solutions.
Responsibilities
- Architect and design scalable, high-performance systems integrating AI models with quantum computing paradigms.
- Lead the technical strategy for the 2026 product roadmap, identifying emerging technologies and integrating them into the core architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of data scientists, engineers, and researchers to translate research into production-ready code.
- Oversee system performance optimization, ensuring zero downtime and sub-millisecond latency for critical applications.
- Mentor junior engineers and architects, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Establish best practices for security, privacy, and compliance in AI-driven environments.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and technical assessments to maintain high engineering standards.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years specifically in AI, Machine Learning, or Quantum Computing.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP), and containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Proven track record of leading large-scale engineering projects from conception to deployment.
- Strong proficiency in Python, C++, and relevant AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Qiskit).
- Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Physics, or a related field is highly preferred.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
