You will ensure that our cutting-edge innovations remain aligned with global standards, societal values, and the regulatory landscape of tomorrow.
In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between complex machine learning engineering and high-level policy formulation, ensuring that our AI systems are not only powerful but also responsible and transparent.
Responsibilities
- Develop Global AI Governance Frameworks: Architect and implement comprehensive ethical guidelines and compliance standards tailored for Large Language Models and generative AI systems.
- Risk Assessment & Auditing: Conduct rigorous bias audits and risk assessments on proprietary algorithms to ensure fair, equitable, and safe deployment across all consumer touchpoints.
- Regulatory Liaison: Monitor and interpret evolving international regulations (such as the EU AI Act and emerging US federal standards) and translate them into actionable engineering and product strategies.
- Stakeholder Education: Lead training workshops for engineering teams, executives, and board members on responsible AI practices, technical debt, and ethical implications.
- Incident Response: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external inquiries regarding AI model behavior, bias incidents, and data privacy breaches.
- Strategic Vision: Collaborate with R&D to pioneer 'Human-in-the-loop' systems and explainable AI (XAI) methodologies that enhance trust and transparency.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree or PhD in Law, Philosophy, Computer Science, Ethics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of experience in AI ethics, compliance, or technology policy, with at least 3 years in a leadership or strategic advisory capacity.
- Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of machine learning concepts, natural language processing (NLP), and the technical limitations and capabilities of LLMs.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Proven track record of navigating complex regulatory environments and translating legal requirements into technical specifications.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to articulate complex ethical concepts to diverse audiences, including technical teams and non-technical executives.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive data issues and make high-stakes decisions under pressure.
