Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize complex 2D interactive tools, charts, and visualizations using HTML5 Canvas, SVG, and WebGL.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate high-fidelity mockups into pixel-perfect, responsive interfaces.
- Optimize rendering engines to ensure smooth 60fps animations across desktop and mobile devices.
- Maintain and improve the core rendering library used across the product suite.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code; conduct thorough code reviews.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in 2D web development, with a strong portfolio showcasing advanced canvas or SVG projects.
- Expert proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular).
- Deep understanding of mathematics and geometry relevant to 2D graphics and animations.
- Experience with WebGL, shaders (GLSL), or PixiJS/Three.js is a significant plus.
- Strong grasp of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and responsive design principles.
