Job Description
We are seeking a visionary Senior 2D UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team in Austin, Texas. In this pivotal role, you will translate complex user requirements into intuitive, aesthetically pleasing, and functional 2D digital experiences. You will define the visual language for our next-generation products, ensuring consistency across web, mobile, and desktop platforms.
Your expertise in 2D design principles will drive our design system, ensuring scalability and accessibility for millions of users.
Responsibilities
- Design high-fidelity wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for web and mobile applications using Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Lead the creation and maintenance of a comprehensive design system, including typography, color palettes, and iconography.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and developers to ensure design feasibility and seamless implementation.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and improve user engagement.
- Create visually compelling marketing assets, including social media graphics, banners, and email templates.
- Mentor junior designers and provide constructive feedback to foster a culture of excellence.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in 2D UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing web and mobile projects.
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Deep understanding of 2D design principles, color theory, typography, and layout.
- Experience with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present design concepts to stakeholders.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
