Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise dogs in designated Lubbock neighborhoods
- Monitor pet behavior and health during walks
- Provide real-time photo/video updates to pet owners via mobile app
- Maintain precise walk schedules and GPS tracking
- Administer basic care (water, waste cleanup, treats as directed)
- Build strong client relationships through exceptional service
- Adapt to weather conditions and pet-specific needs
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and walk 3+ miles daily
- Strong understanding of canine body language
- Smartphone proficiency with mobile apps
- Clean background check & pet care certifications
- Emergency pet first aid/CPR training preferred
- Own leash/collar/waste bags equipment
