Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs in designated Dallas neighborhoods while following owner-specific care instructions
- Monitor pet behavior and health during walks, reporting any concerns immediately
- Maintain detailed digital records of walks via our mobile app (photos, GPS, notes)
- Provide real-time updates to pet owners through our communication platform
- Handle leash control and manage multiple dogs simultaneously when certified
- Adhere to all local Dallas leash laws and park regulations
- Build trust-based relationships with both pets and their owners
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior and handling techniques
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Smartphone proficiency with ability to use mobile apps
- Current tetanus vaccination and reliable internet access
- Must pass background check and pet first certification (training provided)
