Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs in designated Pittsburgh neighborhoods (Squirrel Hill, Shadyside, Lawrenceville)
- Administer medications as per client instructions
- Provide detailed post-walk reports via mobile app
- Maintain strict adherence to pet handling protocols
- Manage multiple dog groups (max 4 dogs per walker)
- Respond promptly to client communications
- Attend monthly training sessions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking experience
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willing to obtain)
- Reliable transportation with valid driver's license
- Availability between 7-11 AM and 3-7 PM daily
- Strong understanding of dog behavior and body language
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to walk 3-5 miles per day in various weather conditions
- Must pass background check and drug screening
