Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs in various San Diego neighborhoods (La Jolla, Pacific Beach, North Park)
- Provide feeding, medication administration, and basic care as needed
- Maintain detailed client notes and activity logs
- Uphold strict safety protocols during all interactions
- Build trust and rapport with pets and their owners
- Handle emergency situations calmly and professionally
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Current pet CPR/first certification preferred
- Strong physical stamina and ability to handle large breeds
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of San Diego pet regulations and leash laws
