Responsibilities
- Safely leash and walk dogs of various breeds and sizes in Durham neighborhoods
- Provide companionship, exercise, and enrichment during walks
- Monitor pet health and behavior during outings
- Clean up pet waste responsibly and maintain walking areas
- Communicate detailed updates and photos to pet owners via our app
- Adhere to scheduled routes and client-specific care instructions
- Transport pets in company vehicles when required
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Reliable transportation (or willingness to use company vehicle)
- Ability to lift 25-50 lbs and walk 3-5 hours daily
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Passion for animal welfare and patience with pets
- Availability mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Background check and drug screening required
