Responsibilities
- Safely transport and walk premium breeds (Golden Retrievers, French Bulldogs, etc.) in climate-controlled vehicles
- Administer specialized care (medication, post-surgery recovery, anxiety management)
- Create detailed activity reports with GPS tracking and photo updates for owners
- Maintain pristine grooming standards (brushing, paw cleaning, breed-specific styling)
- Coordinate with luxury pet concierges for VIP client requests
- Implement positive reinforcement training during walks
- Emergency response certification for heat-related incidents
Qualifications
- 3+ years professional dog walking experience with premium breeds
- Canine CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Exceptional references from high-income clientele
- Reliable luxury vehicle (SUV or sedan) with climate control
- Ability to work 6am-10pm shifts with advanced notice
- Proficiency in pet care apps (Rover, Wag, or similar)
- Knowledge of Arizona's extreme weather safety protocols
- Background check and pet handling liability insurance
