Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise dogs in residential and public areas of Indianapolis
- Provide personalized care including feeding, medication administration, and playtime
- Maintain detailed logs of pet behavior, health updates, and service delivery
- Ensure all pets are secure and comfortable during walks and transport
- Communicate professionally with pet owners about pet status and special needs
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Represent Paws & Play with professionalism and genuine care for animals
Qualifications
- Unwavering love for animals and proven experience handling dogs
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Ability to walk dogs in all weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of canine behavior and first aid
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Background check and clean driving record required
- Must be physically capable of handling dogs up to 80 lbs
