Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise dogs of various breeds and sizes in St. Petersburg neighborhoods
- Provide feeding, medication administration, and basic pet care services
- Maintain detailed client records and service logs via our mobile app
- Ensure pet safety through proper leash handling and environmental awareness
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding pet behavior and needs
- Administer first aid for minor pet injuries as needed
- Uphold strict hygiene and sanitation standards during all services
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation
- Current pet first aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Exceptional reliability and punctuality with flexible schedule availability
- Strong understanding of dog behavior and handling techniques
- Ability to walk dogs in various weather conditions (heat, humidity, rain)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
