Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs in Philadelphia neighborhoods while maintaining control and safety
- Provide real-time photo/video updates via our mobile app during walks
- Administer basic care (water, waste cleanup) and monitor pet behavior
- Manage digital scheduling and client communication remotely
- Transport pets to/from vet appointments or grooming sessions when needed
- Maintain detailed digital logs of services and pet observations
- Uphold strict safety protocols for all animals and environments
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle (insurance required)
- Strong digital literacy for remote scheduling and app usage
- Ability to manage 3-5 dogs simultaneously with control
- Red Cross Pet First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Exceptional communication skills for client interactions
- Availability for weekday/evening shifts (15-25 hrs/week)
- Must reside within 15 miles of Philadelphia city center
