Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise dogs in residential and park settings
- Provide feeding, hydration, and medication administration as needed
- Maintain detailed client reports and scheduling logs
- Administer first aid and emergency protocols if required
- Build trustful relationships with pets and their owners
- Transport pets to veterinary appointments or playdates
- Clean and maintain equipment (leashes, water bowls, etc.)
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Red Cross Pet First Aid/CPR certification
- Reliable transportation and smartphone with GPS
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and walk 5+ miles daily
- Background check clearance required
- Knowledge of breed-specific handling and behavior
