Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise dogs in Irvine neighborhoods and parks
- Provide real-time updates via our mobile app (remote-friendly)
- Administer basic care (water, waste cleanup, playtime)
- Maintain detailed pet health and behavior logs
- Build rapport with pets and owners through exceptional service
- Adapt walks to individual pet needs (energy levels, special requirements)
- Attend monthly virtual team meetings for training and updates
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong physical fitness and ability to handle 20+ lbs
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
- Reliable smartphone with data plan for remote updates
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Passionate about animal welfare and customer service
- Available for weekday and weekend shifts
