Responsibilities
- Design and develop quantum software architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Lead cross-functional teams to implement quantum algorithms on hybrid quantum-classical systems
- Optimize quantum circuits for maximum efficiency and error correction
- Translate complex quantum research into practical software solutions
- Establish quantum security protocols for next-gen data encryption
- Mentor junior developers in quantum programming best practices
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum-classical interfaces
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in software architecture with quantum programming experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms and error correction techniques
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) with quantum services
- Proven track record of leading technical projects from concept to deployment
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields preferred
