Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization
- Develop error-corrected qubit architectures at cryogenic temperatures
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen quantum processors
- Collaborate with industry partners to translate research into commercial applications
- Publish findings in Nature/Science and present at IEEE conferences
- Mentor PhD candidates and junior researchers
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years experience with superconducting qubits or ion traps
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault tolerance
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Experience with cryogenic systems and RF engineering
- Demonstrated ability to secure research grants (NSF/DOE preferred)
