Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams to develop error-corrected quantum systems
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and industry whitepapers
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum-classical hybrid workflows
- Drive commercialization of quantum solutions for finance, logistics, and drug discovery
- Mentor PhD candidates and develop quantum computing curricula for 2026 workforce readiness
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years research experience
- Proven expertise in quantum algorithm development (QAOA, VQE, Grover's variants)
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent top-tier journals
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance architectures
