Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into classical computing frameworks
- Publish groundbreaking research in peer-reviewed journals and industry conferences
- Lead quantum hardware testing and error mitigation protocols
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
- Develop patentable intellectual property in quantum cryptography and machine learning
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research with quantum programming frameworks
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (QAOA, VQE, Grover's) and error correction techniques
- Proficiency in Python, Qiskit, or Cirq for quantum simulation
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or adjacent fields
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum)
